I really liked the incorporation of Fantasy into the colonizing of the New World.Has to be difficult to find a different setting to set yourself apart from other fantasy authors but this guy did it well.The characters' interactions were interesting and entertaining..especially the Dwarf and his rock.Did a good job of not only resolving this story but also in leaving it open for further adventures.Product details

One of the best fantasy books I've read this year. You jump right into the story and the characters are very likeable. Interesting spin on a historical topic.
